Groups of 20 people or more can assist with landscaping or cleaning opportunities. This could involve cleaning indoors (organizing the food pantry, cleaning chair rails, bathrooms, and common area) or outdoors (picking up). We asked that groups bring latex gloves, trash bags, and cleaning supplies such as detergent and all-purpose cleaners.
We welcome volunteers to help serve meals during our daytime supportive services hours. We are excited to add you to our community of regular, dedicated individual and small group volunteers, who each serve our programs at least once per month.
Volunteers are needed in the Learning Center to work with our Job Readiness/Computer Training Programs. Your skills can be used to lead a workshop in areas such as:
- Budgeting
- Resume writing or other job search topics
- Building self-esteem
You can also become a part of our Fundraising Committee or plan/host a fundraising event on behalf of Matthew House as a Second-Party Fundraiser.
